All orders and purchases made through this website are subject to the Online Shopping Terms and Conditions outlined below. These Online Shopping Terms and Conditions may change from time to time without prior notice, and at our discretion.

Compuhub may change or update information on this website at any time without notice, including in respect of prices and availability of items. All prices listed on this website are in South African Rands and all charges will be processed in South African Rands. Pictures on the website may differ from actual product.

Privacy

Compuhub does not disclose buyers information to third parties. Any personal information you provide will only be used for the purpose for which you have provided it and will not be added to any third party mailing lists or sold. We do not have access or store banking details.

Information we collect

In your use of the Website and Services, we may collect and store the following personal information: name, email address and physical contact information; transactional information based on your activities on the Website; billing information; community discussions, chats, correspondence through our Website, and correspondence with us; website connection information, statistics on page views, traffic to and from the Website’s address and standard web log information;

How we use Personal Information

At the outset we would like to give you the comfort that you will always own your personal information and that we do not sell your personal information to anyone, for any reason, at any time. We use and disclose your personal information only as follows: To enable us to process, validate and verify requests; To deliver to you any administrative notices, communications & alerts relevant to your use of the service and website; To analyse Website and Service usage and to improve the services provided; To third-party service providers appointed by us to enable us to provide the Services to you, and who are bound by these same privacy restrictions; To allow us and our authorised third party service providers to access your (“Account Information”) for your use.

Warranty and Returns

Products sold by Compuhub are covered by the manufacturer’s original warranty. Unless stated otherwise on the product page, this warranty is valid for at least one (1) year from the date of your order. Where a manufacturer offers a longer warranty period, that extended coverage applies. Software and certain cable products are generally excluded from standard hardware warranty cover.

If a product is faulty, Compuhub will provide support in line with the manufacturer’s policy. If a fault occurs within 30 days of purchase, Compuhub will cover the cost of returning the item. If a fault occurs more than 30 days after purchase, the cost of returning the item is for your account. If inspection shows that the product is working correctly and no fault is found, the item will be returned to you and you will be responsible for the return postage.

If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, notify us within 24 hours of receipt. Claims reported after this period may not be accepted.

Pricing & Stock

Prices are subject to change without prior notice as and when required, and are usually linked to changes in the Rand Dollar exchange rate. Some products may be end of life and alternative product models may be provided at a different pricing as an option. Occasionally items can be out of stock. We reserve the right to cancel any order and notify you. This is regardless of any communication from Compuhub stating that your order or payment has been confirmed. You will receive an email or call if the order was canceled and as soon as possible thereafter, refunding you for the amount paid.

Refunds

Items that were ordered incorrectly, are unwanted, or are not what you expected may be returned within 14 days of purchase, provided they are sealed and unused. A courier fee and a 15% handling fee will apply.

If we deliver the wrong item, you can return it within 14 days of purchase at no cost to you. Check the goods when they arrive and refuse any incorrect items, and we will send the correct goods.

The following items cannot be returned: opened or downloaded software; perishable items, including batteries; custom-configured or built-to-order products; and clearance items marked as “Final Sale”.

If you cancel an order after payment has been received but before it has been fulfilled or dispatched, you are entitled to a full refund, including any delivery charges paid. If Compuhub chooses not to ship a product, you will be notified by email or telephone and any amount charged will be refunded.

Security: All Credit / Debit card numbers are processed by a 3rd party payment provider, which is Payfast. We never get access to your payment information. This is for your security and also ours as we do not want to be in possession of your valuable data.
